Gabrielle Winifred (Clare) Greenwood

     Gabrielle Winifred Greenwood, 93, of Wyoming passed away on September 2, 2022 at Bayhealth Hospital, and went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus. 

     Mrs. Greenwood loved and was loved dearly by all of her family.  She was a homemaker who loved baking, cooking, and taking care of her home.  Her interests included drawing, dancing, and loved flowers and cats.  

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, who passed away in 2001.  She is survived by her four children: Philip C. Greenwood of New Zealand, Denise S. Thorne and husband James, Brian S. Greenwood of Dover and Lee S. Greenwood of Wyoming;  two brothers Carl Clare of England and Barry Clare also of England; two sisters, Jebba Johnson and her husband Les of Clayton and Carol Clare of Italy; three grandsons: Sean and Justin Thorne of Dover and Rupert Greenwood of New Zealand; and two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including Sheila Rowe of England

     In addition to her husband and parents Winifred and Carl Clare, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kohi Greenwood and siblings: Margaret, Poppy, Joan, Gloria, Gordon, Cecil, Gary and Dennis.

     A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE  19934 where there will also be a viewing prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.  Online condolences may be made at www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
