Frederick Adams

Fred Frederick W. Adams, Jr, age 80, of Dover, Delaware passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born January 11, 1942, Mr. Adams was one of six children born to the late Margaret (Broomall) and Frederick W. Adams.  Fred grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania, prior to entering the Military at the age of 17.  Fred attended Henderson High School in West Chester.

Fred loved fishing, being on his boat, golfing, hunting coaching little league in Camden Wyoming for ten years and spending time with his family and friends.  Fred was known for his smile, sense of humor and dancing.

He was most proud of his four grandsons that survive him and developed a special relationship with each one.

Mr. Adams is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, of almost 58 years.  He is predeceased by his son Frederick W. Adams III.  Fred is survived by siblings Toby Adams (Frances), Jean Melton (Jim), John Adams, James Adams (Mary) and Joseph Adams (Michele).  He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Fred is also survived by his two children, son, Thomas Adams (Kate), daughter, Michelle Sanchez.  His grandchildren include A.J. Sanchez, Kyle Sanchez, Zach Adams and Josh Adams.

A service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11am at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE, where visitation will take place on Thursday evening between 6 - 8pm and Friday from 10-11am.
