Floyd Mills Givens

     Floyd Mills Givens, 67, of Dover DE, died at Kent General Hospital on February 15, 2025.

     He was born in Greenwood DE on October 9, 1957 to the late Mary Ann and Olin Givens.

     Floyd graduated from Dover High School.  He made a living as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

     Floyd was preceded in death by his brother Lloyd, mother Mary Ann and father Olin. He is survived by wife Jeanine; brother Bob Givens of Felton; sister Nancy Hurley of Seaford, sister Joan Kaplan of Bridgeville, sister Rita Overton of Georgetown and two sons Andy of Dover and Brian of Magnolia.  He also had eight grandchildren: Andy Jr, Arielle, Graham, Dylan, Carter, Lydia, Cody and Leland.

     A memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning. Burial will be private.
