Fatima Marie Smith of Magnolia, DE, departed this life on April 11, 2022, at the age of 44. Fatima was born on August 10, 1977, in Milford, DE. She was a graduate of James H. Groves Adult High School in Woodside, DE. She later attended Star Technical Institute in Dover, DE, where she earned a Medical Assistant Certification. Fatima worked hard to provide for her family and held numerous jobs throughout her life. She was currently employed with Medifast, Inc. in Ridgely, MD.
Fatima had a laidback personality and a warm smile which made it easy for everyone to fall in love with her. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. Fatima was known for hosting the best backyard BBQs. If “Tima” was having BBQ, everyone was coming to enjoy the delicious food and friendly atmosphere. She loved to dance, party, and have a good time. Fatima also loved to shop, so much that her family often teased her about the daily Amazon deliveries. She also had a knack for naming the children in her family. Fatima was a kind, gentle soul who welcomed everyone into her home and made them feel like family.
Fatima was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
Fatima was preceded in death by her mother Janet E. (Smith) Daniels. She is survived by her father Marvin E. Stevens of Magnolia, DE; her siblings Eugene M. Smith (Regina) of Dover, DE; Danielle L. Davis of Magnolia, DE; David E. Davis, Jr. (Kiearra) of Magnolia, DE and Eddress G. Smith of Dover, DE; her children Fatesha S. Smith of Dover, DE; A’Ezra E. Smith of Harrington, DE; Taj L. McNair, II of Magnolia, DE; Favyion V. Kiser of Magnolia, DE; and Ayren A. Kiser of Magnolia DE; her grandchildren Da’Jon, J’Onna, Aubrey, Jer’Si, Donna, A’zaiah, and Kingston; her dear cousins Loretta Demby of Dover, DE and Sherita Fisher of Felton, DE; her best friend Jolanda Darling of Dover, DE; her very close friend Vanessa Harrell of Dover, DE; her Goddaughter C’Yonie Holden of Dover, DE; her special companion Jenario Graves; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
