Fannie Ann Rholetter, age 59, of Leipsic, DE passed away on May 26, 2025 surrounded by those who loved her. Born on January 17, 1966 in Wilmington, DE Fannie was the beloved daughter of Carol States and Nelson Satterfield.
She dedicated many years of her life working for George & Lynch, where she was known for her commitment, work ethic, and strength. Outside of work, she found joy in spending time with her family. Fannie had a generous heart, a radiant smile, and a warm spirit that touched everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol States; her sister Karen Satterfield; brothers Steven Satterfield and Nelson Satterfield Jr.; her granddaughter A’Niyah Rholetter; her niece Christina Lemon; and fathers-in-law Walter Sawyer and Clark Rholetter.
Fannie is survived by her loving children: Buffy Rholetter, Alicia Rholetter, David Sawyer (Brittany), and Cassidy White. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Justin Lee Whiteman Jr., Alexis Rholetter, Abriyah Rholetter, Josiah Rholetter, Arianna Rholetter, and Terez Jacobs III. She also leaves behind her brother, Roger Satterfield (Ann); sisters, Ann Satterfield-Moon and Phyllis Lofland; mother-in-law Karen Sawyer; sister-in-law Ashley Lyon; brother-in-law Brad Sawyer (Breanna); son-in-law Justin Lee Whiteman Sr. and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Fannie’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 A.M at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 with a viewing beginning at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, DE. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
