Elven Piper Obituary
Ellendale- Elven Lene Piper, of Ellendale, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Beebe Hospital. She was 74.
Elven was born July 22, 1947 in Jakin, Georgia to the late Premer & Irene(Washington) Smith.
She had worked as a Home Health Nurse for many years, most recently for Christiana Care Visiting Nurses Association. Elven had a love for children, and operated a Day Care briefly out of her home. She was an accomplished seamstress who loved to make and sell children’s clothing.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Piper.
Elven is survived by 3 children, Arthur J. Piper, and Shellene Piper, both of Ellendale; and Earlene Carter & husband, Frederick, of Williamsburg, Kentucky; 2 sisters, Everene Wright & Martha Sample, both of Florida; 4 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before.
