Elsie Mae McConnell

    Elsie Mae McConnell, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. She was 73.

    Elsie was born to the late, Roy & Mazzie(Hunt) Fitzgerald, in Charlottesville, Virginia, on June 12, 1944. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 2013.

   Elsie enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to the Modern Maturity Center , and visiting with friends.

   Elsie is survived by her 3 sons, and daughter-in-laws, Frank & Wanda; Randall & Karen; and Shawn; her mother-in-law, Mary McConnell, of Volant, Pennsylvania;  3 grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer and Shawn; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia. She is also survived  her siblings, Jack Fitzgerald; and Cathy Sipe, and her husband, Wilmer; both of Charlottesville, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

   Burial in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro will be held at 2 pm, Friday, May 18, 2018.   Condolences may be sent via : www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
