Elaine E. (Howell) Barczak

Elaine E Barczak (Mom Mom), age 82 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Elaine was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Mary (Kempski) and Thomas Howell. She graduated from Conrad High School.

Elaine worked at Speakman Company up until her retirement.

She enjoyed dancing, bowling and spending time with her family. Elaine will be remembered for her humor, kindness to others(even stray cats) and her amazing smile. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to family gatherings.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Alfred Barczak; brother Tommy; sisters Phyllis, Theresa and Judy.

She is survived by her son, Tom Jenkins (Debbie); daughter Tammy Walls (Franny) and brother Ben Gifford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paige Davis; Brittany Pool (Sean); Allyson Walls and Katie Jordon (Greg), as well as great-grandchildren Logan,Arya and Luke Jordon.

The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
