Effie (Miller) Yoder

Effie Yoder of Greenwood, DE, went home to be with her Lord on the Lord's Day, Sunday, May 15, 2022 after a short illness.  She was 91.  She was born March 5, 1931 to Annie (Schrock) Miller and Eli Miller of Dover, Delaware.  She was the fourth child in a family of five.  Effie was preceded in death by her parents; her four siblings, Ammon, Irvin, Esther (Miller) Chaffinch and Henry; her husband Samuel Yoder and a daughter-in-law, Ina Yoder. 

Effie is survived by a son Ronald Yoder (Martha) of Greenwood; 2 daughters also of Greenwood, Ramona Carter (Dale) and Rhonda Brenneman (Carl); seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandma, extended family and friends. 

Her services will take place at Greenwood Mennonite Church where she was a member.  The visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 6-8 pm and her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2 pm all at Greenwood Mennonite Church, 12525 Shawnee Rd., Greenwood, DE.  Burial to follow her service at the church cemetery.
