Edward Wood Obituary
In loving memory of Edward Allan Wood, age 86 of Dover, DE., Allan was born in Greensboro, MD, the son of C. Henry Wood, Sr. and Agnes Cooper Wood.
He graduated from Greensboro High School in 1952. He was a employed at Holden Dodge for 30 years. He spent much of his life in service to our country in the United States Air Force, where he was a Flight Traffic Specialist. In 1989, he participated in the Bicentennial Inaugural Parade.
Ed is survived by his daughter Lorna Weis, granddaughter, Tessa and great granddaughter Clara Anne; his siblings, Charles Wood Jr (Lou), his brother Robert J Wood (Maureen), James A Wood (Dee) of Camden-Wyoming, C. Raymond Wood (Barb) of Milford; sisters, Nancy Cubbagbe (Jim) of Smyrna; a sister-in-law, Catherine Wood of Denton, extended family and friends.
He will be missed!
Viewing Monday, January 25, 2021 from 9 am until 10:45 am. Funeral Service Monday 11 am at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming DE. Interment with military honors to follow at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE
