Edward Reaves Connors III, 65 of Dover Del, sadly left us on September 19, 2022 after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Eddie was a wonderful, caring son to his adored mother who he spent time with decorating, gardening, cooking, shopping, relaxing on the deck, and just everyday life happenings. He was a big brother, uncle, nephew and grandson who was always there when needed. Eddie was all about family and creating memories any chance he got. He will be sadly missed and always hold a special place in our hearts. He was a pure athlete who excelled at baseball, football, and basketball at Middletown High School along with recreational men’s softball & bowling leagues. Eddie loved to learn, he was knowledgeable and a master of many hobbies to include woodworking, painting, arts and crafts, fishing, gardening, sports statistics, and decorating. Not only did he love to learn, he absolutely loved to pass on what he knew, especially sports related topics. He was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Orioles and could cite their club’s statistics from their inception. Eddie was predeceased by his father Edward Reaves Connors II of Townsend De in 2009, and his beloved dog Ella earlier this year. Eddie left behind his Mother Helen Duffy of Dover DE, Brother Barry and Elizabeth Connors of Seaford DE, Sister Crystal Connors of Dover DE, Brother Michael and Wendy Duffy of Dover DE, and Brother Sean and Cassie Duffy of Greenwood DE. Eddie was a loving and nurturing Uncle to his nieces Amanda, Cissy, Bella, Bryn, McKinly, Romy, Tobyn and Iris. Nephews Michael, Clay, Joshua, Sean Patrick, Kaiden, Liam, Declan, Shane, and George.
