Dorothy Agnes (Haines) Raymond

Dorothy A. Raymond went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020. She was born on February 24, 1924 in Washington D.C. Her parents were William Noah Haines and Dulcie Haines. She was married to Robert Raymond, a retired Sergeant Major in the US Army. He was the love of her life. They traveled extensively. She loved to cook. Her specialties were Red Velvet cake, German chocolate cake, peanut butter fudge and Tollhouse cookies. Dottie, as she was affectionately known, Jazzercized three times a week until she was 92 years old. She loved her western movies and Turner Classics Movies. Dottie was an avid Eagles fan and wore her Eagles shirt proudly. Dottie leaves to cherish her memory four children: Ken Gregg (Cindy) Terry Gregg (Ruth), Linda Mayew and Richard Raymond (Rosemarie), nine grandchildren: Ken, Cody, Austin, Andrea, Kelley, Bill, Michael, Tara and Laura and seven great grandchildren. The services will be held at Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, Delaware. Viewing was held on August 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on August 13, 2020. Burial will be held  in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:00pm. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the burial is limited to immediate family only.
