Donna E. (Massey) Price

Our loving mother, Donna E. Price, age 73, of Townsend, gained her angel wings December 24, 2024.  She was born on May 13, 1951 in Delaware to the late Frank “Ed” Massey and Anna Mae Massey (Butler).

Donna began her career with the Delaware Department of Correction in 1990 and eventually transferred to Delaware Superior Court where she retired after 29 years of public service in 2019. 

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She loved her family with all her being especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren – anything they wanted; they received.  She could always be found at a football, baseball or softball field, homecomings, proms, graduations, cheering them on.  She had a big smile, a contagious laugh and would do anything for anyone. 

Donna is survived by her loving daughters Trisha Furr (Tim), Kim Pepper (Anthony), Danielle Martino (Ed), her sister Sharon Stover (Wayne), and her brothers John Massey, Sr. (Nanette), and Bernie Massey (Judy).   The real joys of her life were her precious grandchildren Amanda Wittmeyer (Mike), Carol Rentz (Steven), Haiden Martino, AJ Pepper, and Gabby Pepper, and precious great-grandchildren Colin, Gabe, Declan, Dawson and Charlotte. Donna is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her niece Heather Lynette Massey.    

Friends and family are invited to join a Memorial Service at Pippin Funeral Home on January 27, 2025 with a gathering from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and services immediately following at 12:00 p.m. All will be invited to a luncheon following the services.  Burial will be private.
