Donna Marie Morris

Donna Marie Morris, 56, passed away on February 17, 2025.  Donna was born in Dover, Delaware to Donald Morris and Janet (McMichael) Teat.  Donna is preceded in death by her father, Donald Morris; maternal grandparents, James and Selena McMichael; and her paternal grandparents, Robert “Hurtis” and Helen Morris.

Donna retired from the state of Delaware after 28.5 years.  In her free time, Donna volunteered at Toys for Tots and June Jam.  She enjoyed reading, watching ghost stories and going to the beach.

Donna is survived by her 2 children, Matthew Dotson (Lauren) and Danielle Davis (Curtis “Scotty”); 2 grandchildren, Cayleigh and Ryan; her mother, Janet Teat and her step-father, Sanford "Sandy" Teat; siblings, Debbie Morris (Steve Batey) and James Teat (Danielle); her nephew, Jordan Batey; her partner of 12 years, Charlie Kashner; as well as extended family members and friends.

A funeral service for Donna will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00pm at Pippin Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00pm.
