Donald Lee Williams, of Dover, passed away peacefully in his home, Tuesday, November 17, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.
Donald was born August 19, 1933, in Chincoteague, Virginia to the late, James & Margaret(Magee) Williams. He worked at the Felton Body Shop for many years before retiring 25 years ago. Don was a member of Faith Life Ministries in Dover, and in his free time enjoyed watching Auto Racing and Old Movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 children, Margaret Ann Crockett, Earl Orlando Perry , Linda Lapinski & Peggy Tyler; and his siblings, Milton Williams, Darrell Williams, Clement Williams, Roy Williams, Dwayne Williams, Dorothy Albert, Ruby Barr, Jean Farley, Olive Shreaves, Helen West, and Virginia Wilder.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Edna(Fluhart) Williams; his loving daughter, Peggy Kessler, of Hartly; 2 brothers, Dayle Williams, of Bloxom, Virginia , & James Williams, of Chincoteague ; 2 sisters, Kaye Birch, of Bloxom, Virginia and Sandra Williams, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt Thanks to Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion shown to Donald and the family during his time of need.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where a walk thru viewing will be held between 11am-1pm; adhering to the current Covid-19 restrictions of mask wearing, social distancing, and 50 people maximum at a time.
