Donald L. Guion passed peacefully in his home on February 4, 2026, in Dover, Delaware.
Donald was a graduate of New Bern High School in North Carolina and honorably served his country through dedicated military service in the United States Navy, the Army, and the National Guard.
He was a beloved son to his mother, Francis Guion, and a cherished brother to his sister, Barbara Perkins. He is survived by his children, Sherman Simmons (son) and Donzie Titus (daughter) who carry forward his legacy of strength courage and authentic love.
Donald also shared 25 meaningful years of love with longtime companion, Marsha Wheeler whose love and support were a special presence in his life.
Donald leaves behind five grandchildren and one great-grandchild who brought him much joy and pride.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy and love will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
