Dolores “Dee” Omans, 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on July 22, 2026. Dee was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania in 1943. She graduated from Uniontown High School. She worked for JCPenney for a short time before moving to Delaware, where she started a family and raised three children.
In her younger years she enjoyed dancing, trips to the beach, entertaining with friends, home improvement projects and playing tennis. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, including their annual trip to the family cabin in Michigan. She managed her husband’s pediatric practice for more than twenty years. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and was blessed to meet her two great-grandchildren before her passing.
Dee was proceeded in death by her husband Dr. Walter Omans. She is survived by her children Debbie Costa, Janice Malmberg (Peter) and Walter “Ben” Omans (Wendy), grandson Walter Omans, Jr. (Lauren) and their children Weston and Nolan, and grandson Zander Omans. She is also survived by her four stepchildren and their families.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Delaware. Committal Services will be private.
