Diane June (Chappelle) Mason

Diane June Mason, aged 79, died at Bayhealth in Dover on November 8, 2021.  She was the daughter of Palmer R. and Rachel (Taylor) Chappelle and had lived in Dover for most of her life.

Diane attended schools in the Caesar Rodney district. She had lived for the last decade at Brookdale Senior Living, where she enjoyed doing word puzzles and reading her Bible.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, her brother Bruce Chappelle, her son Christopher Nelson, and her daughter Andrea Mason. She is survived by her sister, Maureen Wootten, and sister-in-law, Sherry Chappelle. Diane is also survived by a niece, Jamie Ebert and five nephews, Todd and Dale Chappelle, Jeffrey and Gary Wootten and Jody Ebert.
