Obituary

     David Howard Hall, of Dover, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He was 82.

     David was born November 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the Late, Walter & Vera Rose( Bischoff) Hall.  David worked as an on-site machinist with General Electric for over 30 years, then worked at Scott Paper and Dover Downs for 5 years each before retiring. He loved the outdoors, and liked to go crabbing & boating. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR & football.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Hall(2017),  a grandson, Billy Hall, and several brothers & sisters.

    David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Ann(Rutledge) Hall; 3 Children, Carol Ann Pierce & husband, George, of Georgia; Daniel Hall & wife, Dawn, of New Jersey; and Catherine Hall & fiance’ Stephen Parkes, of New Jersey; his daughter-in-law, Joyce Hall, of New Jersey; 2 sisters, Fran Lewis, of Cambridge, Maryland and Dorothy Tierno, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 15 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral Services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 2 hours before. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
