Darry J. Buckle, "Ducky", 61 years old, passed away at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford De on May 31, 2026. Darry was born in Easton Maryland on November 27, 1964.
He was preceded by his mother, Ethel Irwin, his father, Theodore Buckle, brother, Gene Buckle and sister Joy Buckle.
He received his GED and joined the Marines in 1981. When he was discharged, he went on in the Air Force National Guards until 2007. He was a proud Marine. Darry was always there for everyone. It didn’t matter the time or day, if you needed help, he was the first one there. He had a sarcastic humor, never met a stranger, and loved to laugh. His family was his pride and joy whom he loved with his whole heart. Always remember him with a smile on his face and laughing.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Parsons), daughter, Stacy Thompson & David, sister, Donna Noble & Mike, sister, Pasty Taylor, brother-In-law, Ray Parsons; sister In-law, Sue Davis and Donny; nephews, Ronnie Cahall and Michelle, Eric Buckle and Courtney, Nieces, Amber McNeil, Tiffani McNeil, and Riley Pope and Kyle, grandsons, Vincent Thompson and David Thompson Jr., bonus daughters, Dorothy Lee, Alison Jusino and Janet Satchell, best friends, Michael DiLorenzo, William Cook and Phil Hayes, and bonus sister In Law, Pamela Benton.
Darry loved to make people laugh. He had so many funny quotes but too many to list. He had a love of Thrasher Fries and Seafood.
For the services, please wear jeans, t-shirts or just casual clothing. Darry only wore a suit on a couple of occasions so please no suit or ties unless you want too.
Service will be 12 noon on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford, DE 19963.
