Cynthia Ann (Ryfa) Bargellini

     Cynthia A. Bargellini, 65, of Felton passed away on May 12, 2022 at home. 

     Cynthia had been a homemaker. She was a second generation Polish-American and was a longtime resident of Browntown in Wilmington, DE.  She attended St. Hedwig’s Catholic School and Padua Academy, participating in track and cheerleading.  She loved to read and watch classic TV shows and movies, her favorite was I Love Lucy. She also enjoyed going to church and participating in Bible Study. She later moved to Felton, DE to be closer to her children and grandchildren. 

     Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Bargellini, who passed away in 1996, and by her daughter, Shannon Brand, who passed away in 2012.  She is survived by her children, Brandie Shanklin and her husband Anthony of Louisville, KY and Marty Brand and his wife Karol of Felton; her brothers, Frank Ryfa of Wilmington and Mark Ryfa of Wilmington; her son in law Jose Diaz of Wilmington; 10 grandchildren and one great grandson.
