Cristina Elvira Gory

Cristina Elvira Gory, of Camden, DE, died on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.

Ms. Gory was born on June 26th, 1965, in Trenton, New Jersey. Cristina grew up in New Jersey and Italy, then moved to Camden, DE, where she graduated from Caesar Rodney high school, then went on to eventually work at the Department of Correction for the State of Delaware, for 32 years of service. She lived most of her working life in Magnolia, Felton and Camden, DE. She was hard working, a devoted mother and someone who never wanted the attention on herself, but rather on others, first. She loved Jesus.

She loved her 2 wonderful biological children in her life. She is survived by her brother and sister, Giuseppe Petti and Anna Maria Petti, son, Patrick Gory, two nieces, Maria Carmen and Francesca Petti, one nephew, Mario Petti, and also Kevin Gory, Travis Gory, Alexander James Gory, Billy McCulley, Mary Gory, Cheryl Garland, and Loredana Petti. Preceded in death by her father, Mario Petti, her mother, Maria Carmen, and her son, Daniel McCulley.

Memorial services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice that relates to cancer centers around the world.
