Cathy May (Horn) Jacobs

     Cathy May Jacobs, 69, of Dover passed away on February 27, 2023 at home. Born in Dover, DE, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Ann (Beck) Zgoba and Richard Tunis Horn, Sr. 

     Cathy’s hobbies included gardening, sewing, camping and line dancing.  She loved spending time with her family, friends and neighbors.

     Cathy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard L. Jacobs, Sr.; two children Linda Jean Hetteroth and her husband Charles Lee Hetteroth, II of Dover and Robert Kevin Jacobs and his wife Amy of Selbyville; her brother Richard T. Horn and his wife Leona of Lake City, Florida; her sister Fay A. Tally and her husband David of Camden; six grandchildren:  Zachary Hetteroth, Alison Taylor and her husband Darius Taylor, Chase Hetteroth, Grace Rexroth, Anthony Jacobs and Lexi Jacobs; and her great grandson Kai Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Jacobs, Jr. 

     A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday, March 6, 2023 at the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2, 835 S. Bay Road, Dover, DE  19901.  Burial will be private.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
