Catherine Susan (Sheranko) Dolbow

Catherine (Cathy) Susan Dolbow, 72, passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, June 6, 2026, at the Bayhealth Hospital, Dover, after a sudden illness.

She was born July 18, 1953, in Dover, and resided within 10 miles of her Willow Grove birth home her entire life.

She is now reunited with family that preceded her in death: her loving parents, Robert and Delores Sheranko and sister, Barbara A Latchum.

She is survived by husband, Bill Dolbow, son, William Dolbow II (Dawn), brothers, James Sheranko (Faye) and Robert Sheranko (Cathy), and many nieces and nephews.

Cathy was well known for her cooking and kitchen management skills, having managed a restaurant and routinely filling her shelves with canned goods.

She loved people and helped whoever she could.  She really loved animals, especially her “family” dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
