Catherine Louise (Watson) Corson

     Catherine “Cathy” Corson of Smyrna, DE passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022 at the age of 70.

     Cathy was born in Maryland to the late Arthur and Ida Mae Watson.  She was one of eighteen children.  Cathy loved to listen and sing along to country music and hymns, but her favorite was Elvis.  She enjoyed drawing and spending time with family.

     Cathy is survived by two sons, Kevin and Christal Corson of Frederica and Jimmy “Jim Jim” & Crystal Corson of Dover; three grandchildren: Kirstyn, Lilyaunna and Ava Corson, all of Dover; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

     A visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE  19934 with a funeral service to begin at Noon.   Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the funeral home to assist with expenses.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
