Carol Russell Wilson

Carol Russell Wilson passed away, April 4, 2022, in her home, surrounded by family.

She was born December 2, 1955 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Glenn and Jane Russell of Denver Colorado.  She graduated high school in Denver and then attended Stephens college in Columbus, MO where she graduated in 1976.  She met her former husband, Keith Wilson, in Colorado, when he attended the Air Force Academy. The two married and had three girls, Courtney, Kendall, and Kiersten Wilson.  She was a regular attendant at Christ Church in Dover, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She was a wonderful singer and quite enjoyed singing regularly.  She had been classically trained in voice, played piano, and knew how to sing in multiple languages. She was a regular participant in school functions, girl scouts, and other activities in the community. She was kind hearted, had a wonderful smile, good sense of humor and great laugh.  She never hesitated to help anyone in need in any way possible.  She dedicated her life to her family, raising her girls and helping with the grandchildren regularly. 

She was preceded in death by parents Glenn Russell, and Jane Russell, and father-in-law Ross Wilson. 

She is survived by daughter Courtney Wilson and grandson Lucas Parra; daughter Kendall Wilson-Lamourine, her spouse Joel Lamourine and grandson Isaac Lamourine; daughter Kiersten Wilson, her partner,  William Morton the 3rd and grandson, William Morton the 4th; her ex mother-in-law Geraldine Wilson, her ex husband Keith Wilson and his spouse Beverly.
