Bryant William Dalgewicz, 50, of Camden, Delaware, formerly of Highland, Maryland, passed away suddenly on Thursday May 28, 2020. Born on March 06, 1970, in Cheverly, Maryland, Bryant was the son of Barbara Dalgewicz and the late John Dalgewicz and was the first of three children.
Bryant spent most of his youth surrounded by the love of the outdoors, sports, and family. He graduated from Atholton High School in Columbia, Maryland in 1988. He graduated with the class of 1998 from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
Bryant worked for Standard Distributing Company, which later became United Distributers, LLC, where he led a sales team for 14 years. Bryant was often a top leader in sales and made many long-lasting relationships with employees and customers throughout the years. No matter who Bryant was with, he was always admired for his personality, sense of humor, and dedication to his profession.
Bryant was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Like his late father, Bryant was a fighter and battled through a brain tumor diagnosis nine years ago. He had a heart of gold, always thinking of others before himself. He loved the outdoors and loved spending time with his sons hunting and fishing. Bryant enjoyed spending as much time as he could at our family home, the Gismo Inn, on the water in Virginia. Bryant felt most like himself there and made lots of memories with his family.
Bryant is survived by his two sons, Jacob Edward Dalgewicz and Nathan William Dalgewicz; his mother, Barbara Dalgewicz; his two sisters, Caryn Dalgewicz Vollmer (Ray Vollmer) and Alissa Dalgewicz Cole (Drew Cole); his six nieces and nephews, Finley Vollmer, Gracelynn Vollmer, Eleanor Vollmer, Adalynn Cole, Harrison Cole, and Charleson Cole. Bryant is also survived by the mother of his children, Melissa Dalgewicz and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Bryant was full of love! No matter what life threw his way, he always tackled it with dignity and he never complained. He was a man full of loyalty, traditions, and honesty, who was entirely devoted to spending time with his two boys, Jake and Nate, and the rest of his family. Hearts are broken and life will not be the same without him.
