Brianne Nicole (McDowell) Campagnini passed away suddenly on May 15, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so fiercely. She was 33 years old. Born on November 12, 1992, in Seaford to Michael and Heidi McDowell, Bri lived a life marked not by status or recognition, but by the extraordinary depth of her love, creativity, loyalty, and compassion for others.
To know Bri was to feel seen. She had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, understood, and deeply cared for. Whether through a handwritten note tucked into the mail, a thoughtful care package, a warm embrace at exactly the right moment, or simply the way she listened, Bri carried an intentional kindness that left lasting fingerprints on the hearts of everyone around her.
She graduated from Sussex Technical High School in 2011, where she studied print and graphic design. Art was woven into the fabric of who she was. She could spend hours creating detailed stippling portraits so lifelike they seemed to breathe. Photography became another extension of her heart — she had an unmatched eye for capturing the fleeting moments people wished they could hold onto forever. Artistic is too small a word for the beauty she carried within her.
Brianne worked at Davelli’s and later as a graphic designer for Xtreme Graphix before courageously building her own creative business, Elysian Collective. She poured herself into that work for four years before stepping back to devote this season of her life fully to her husband and children — a choice she made willingly and lovingly, because her family was always her greatest passion.
Above all else, Bri was a devoted wife and mother. On June 2, 2018, she married the love of her life, Michael Campagnini, beginning a partnership defined by unwavering devotion, deep friendship, and a once-in-a-lifetime love that many only dream of experiencing. To Michael, Bri was home. She was the steady embrace that made fear disappear and the heart waiting faithfully on the other side of every door.
Together they built a beautiful life centered around their three beloved children: Leia Grace, Qi’ra Eisley, and Anakin Michael Campagnini — the living legacy of their mother’s spirit.
Leia carries Bri’s calm strength and steadfast heart, becoming a place of stability for others to lean on.
Qi’ra reflects her mother’s empathy and selfless kindness, feeling deeply and loving freely.
And Anakin inherited Bri’s determination and drive — the ability to find a way forward even when none seems possible.
Her children and husband were her entire world. Every sacrifice she made, every ounce of love she gave, was poured into creating a life where they felt safe, cherished, and endlessly loved.
Bri also found joy in music, animals, baking, drawing, graphic design, and her deep love for K-pop and BTS. She had been eagerly looking forward to attending a concert later this year — one more memory she was excited to make with the people she loved.
She is survived by her husband Michael Campagnini; her children Leia Grace, Qi’ra Eisley, and Anakin Michael Campagnini; her parents Michael and Heidi McDowell of Bridgeville; her brother Christian McDowell; Aunt Dawn Chism (David); grandfather Jon Willey (Susan) of Myrtle Beach; grandmother Amelia McDowell of Greenwood; great-aunt Connie McDowell; cousin Cheyenne Chism Hall (Garney); nephews Brennan and Kobe McDowell, Karsten Hall, and Ryan Houston; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews from the Campagnini family whom she adored deeply.
She was preceded in death by her sister Courtney McDowell; niece Elliana McDowell; grandmother Ursula Willey; grandfather Glen McDowell; and Aunt Lori McDowell.
Brianne’s absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the love she gave so freely continues on in every person she touched. Her life is a reminder that the most valuable thing we can give one another is time — to hold our loved ones close, to love loudly and wholeheartedly, and to never take a single moment for granted.
A faithful heart. A fierce spirit. A love that will never fade.
