Betty Jane (Richards) Miller

Betty Jane Miller, 93, of Dover, Delaware passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.  She was born on February 9,1932 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Wilbert and Grace Richards.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Lee Miller.

Betty will always be remembered for her love of chocolate, peanut butter, anything lavender, shopping excursions with her daughter at their favorite store, TJMaxx, Sunday Fundays with family and friends at her son’s pool and cherished lunch dates with her grandsons. But Betty will be remembered most for never missing an opportunity to love and spoil her beloved great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her two children, Michael Lee Miller and Lisa Lorea (Michael); grandsons Jordan Lorea (Brandy) and Jacob Lorea (Kaitlyn); great-grandchildren, Caleb, Maddie, Hannah and Jackson Lorea; a special cousin, Beverly Windon, and extended family members and friends.

A service honoring her life will begin at Noon on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, where family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery in Dover.
