Barbara Ann Marlowe (married name was Siesputowski), 81, of Dover DE, (formally of Lewes, DE and West Orange, NJ) died on April 20, 2020. Barbara was born in Newark, NJ, on November 12, 1938.
After working as mother, a designer of decorative window shades, and helping to start the West Orange Animal Welfare League, she retired to Delaware. She loved animals, doing crafts, dancing (especially to Elvis), and spending time with loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Chiampor and step-father John Chiampor and her father, Thomas Marlowe and stepmother, Elaine Marlowe. She will be greatly missed by her family, including her 3 daughters: Barbara (Brian) FitzPatrick, Mary (Skip) Poole, and Joanne (Chris) Kelly. She will be remembered as the beloved “Nan” of 5 grandchildren (Robert Poole, Jessica and Kyle FitzPatrick, Chris and Joseph Kelly) and 1 great-grandson (Dante Kelly) as well as a treasured sibling to her 11 brothers and sisters.
