Daughter of Audrey S. Todd Rivers, nee Briel and William Clermont Rivers. She was known to some friends and family by the nickname “Dinky”. She took great pride in knowing her maternal and paternal ancestors arrived in America in the 1600's, and in Baltimore, Md. in the 1700's. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Mary Lou and Patricia Ellen. Surviving her are sisters Elizabeth "BJ" Peters , Margaret “Peggy” Ferguson , Joan Bousman, brothers William “Bill” and Thomas “Tom” Rivers.
Audra Anne, born Audrey, spent many years fundraising for the medical care of AIDS patients in the seventies, eighties and nineties. She took many classes in various mediums at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the sixties, doing some occasional professional graphic work. For years she worked in the hospitality industry managing the King of Pizza restaurant and Executive Lounge in Rodney Village followed by The Boathouse in Dewey Beach. She spent many years working in the business office of Beebe Hospital in Lewes..
Her interests included genealogy, jewelry, antiques and reading. By her request there will be no memorial service.
