Arthur Lee Smith, Jr.

      Arthur Lee Smith, Jr., of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, August 4, 2020, in the Delaware Hospice Center. He was 60.

     Arthur was born January 11, 1960 in Hemingway, South Carolina. Arthur worked for Cooks Tire Company in Harrington for almost 20 years, and had also worked for King Cole in Milton and Perdue, in Georgetown for a few years. In his free time Arthur enjoyed fishing, Barbecuing, watching sports,  baseball & basketball in particular, and spending time with his family, especially his Mom and Grandchildren.

    Arthur is survived by his Mother, Minnie(Ford) Ellis, of Magnolia; his father, Arthur Lee Smith, Sr., of South Carolina;  3 daughters, Rakettia Tribbett & husband, Edward, of Felton; and Shawntia McLeish & companion, Terry Smith, of Dover; and Nancy Witherspoon, of Dover; his son,Takoi Morris & wife, Edna, of Dover; his siblings,Ray Smith & wife, Melissa, of Magnolia; Stacy Porter & husband, Edward, of Dover; Carletha Scott & husband, Lemuel “Butch”, of Magnolia; Aaron Harris, of Dover; Concessa & Falanda Smith, both of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren & 1 great-grandson; his favorite niece Cahce Smith; favorite nephews, Antonio Bynum and Nicholas "Troy" McNally, Jr; his best friend Marvin Stevenson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

     Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2020, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where a walk thru viewing will be held 2 hours before, adhering to the current Covid-19 restrictions.
