Antoinette "Ann" Berry Obituary

     Ann Berry departed this life on March 1, 2025. Ann was born on November 24, 1960 in New York City to the late Theresa & Nicholas DiSalvo.

     Ann received her education from Caesar Rodney School District.

     Ann started her employment at the Dinner Bell Inn doing various jobs.

     Ann had a passionate heart for kids and operated her in-home daycare "Ann's Daycare" which served many children through the surrounding area and neighborhood. After closing the daycare, Ann sought employment in the CR School District, where she was employed in child nutrition before transferring into the classroom as a paraprofessional until she retired.

     Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her favorite was spending time at VA Beach each summer with her family.

     She is preceded in death by her mother Theresa DiSalvo, her father Nicholas DiSalvo Sr, her brother Joseph DiSalvo, her niece Danielle Brodeur, mother in law, Hilda Giddens, her father in law Thomas Giddens, brother in laws John & Melvin Berry.

     She leaves to cherish her memory are her loving husband Ronald Berry; son Steven R. Berry; granddaughter Kaedence Berry; four step grandchildren: Kyn'Dall and Nova Cannon, Khylia Singlertary and Kennedy Odwin; her brother, Nicholas DiSalvo Jr, (Ronda); her niece Pamela Brodeur; her nephew Brandon DiSalvo (Chelsea); sister in laws: Delores Berry, Audrey Smith (Kenneth), Clara Berry; a very close and special sister-in-law, Eunice Piper (Noah), brothers in law, Wayne Berry and Terriane Giddens (Melissa); a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors, students and friends; her 2 loyal friends, whose love and support were unwavering are Ylester Henry and Pam Burkett.

     Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Wyoming, DE at 11:00 A.M.  Friends may call two hours prior.  Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
