Ann (Mazzarella) McLean

Ann McLean (Mazzarella), 69, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2026, with family and friends at her bedside. 

If we were to paint a picture of Ann’s essence, we would say that she possessed a magical ability to make everyone feel special. She formed deep, personal connections with each of her people. If you were fortunate enough to be a part of her life, you were forever. Her spirit, passion, and genuine enjoyment of life lived to the fullest will be deeply missed. But her loss serves as a valuable lesson for all of us.

Ann is survived by her husband, John McLean Jr.; children, John McLean, III and Carmela Haggett; daughter in-law Melissa DiMauro and four grandchildren, Vincent, Abigail, Isabel, and Landon. 

A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 11:30 pm at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE, where friends and family may gather beginning at 10:00 am. 

A celebration of life will be held at the V.F.W. Post 6483 (177 Veterans Circle, Milford, DE) on Sunday July 19th at 3pm. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
