Aline Hutchins, 72, of Dover, Delaware, passed away on February 23, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1953, in Delbarton, West Virginia, to Charles F. Evans and Eve Mae Rife.
Aline was the beloved wife of her husband, Kenneth Hutchins Sr. She was a loving mother to Dina Logan and Tracey Hearn (Rob), and a proud bonus mother to Kim Rogers. She was a cherished grandmother to Ashley Clark (Willey), Randy Lee Webb (Ashley), Logan Johnson, Kain Johnson (Kris Anne), Hunter Rogers (Kelsey), and Jake Rogers (Aiden), and a proud great-grandmother to Carter Stiles, William Clark, and Gunner Clark. She is also remembered by her brother, Charles Evans (Karen); her sister, Donna Vaughn (Randy); and her sister-in-law, Darlene Evans (Arthur). She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she cherished. Her family was her greatest pride and purpose.
Aline dedicated many years of service to Kraft Foods, where she was known for her reliability and strong work ethic. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, crafting, and traveling, especially traveling back to her roots in West Virginia. She also loved exploring her family tree and history, taking great joy in learning about where her family came from and sharing those stories with those she loved.
Her life was rooted in faith, commitment, and devotion to those she loved. She will be remembered for her steady presence, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. Evans and Eve Mae Rife; her brothers, James Evans and Arthur Evans; and her bonus son, Kenneth Hutchins Jr.
A celebration of Aline’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Maranatha Fellowship Church, 60 Deer Track Lane, Dover, Delaware 19904. Family and friends are invited to attend.
