Albert Donald Deputy, Sr.

     With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Albert D. Deputy, Sr. of Dover, Delaware at Kent General Hospital.  Albert departed this life on April 13, 2026.  

     Albert was born on July 28, 1931 in Frederica, Delaware.  He later relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended Overbrook High School.  Albert spent 20 years in the United States Air Force where he retired with an honorable discharge.

     He met and married his first wife who preceded him in death.  Two sons were born of that union, Albert Deputy, Jr. who preceded his dad in death, and surviving son, Dane Deputy of Philadelphia, PA.  Albert later met and married Ardessa Deputy, who also preceded him in death.  He gained three stepchildren: Donald Loper, Mike Loper, and Pasqualita Jackson who he leaves to cherish his memory; as well as five grandchildren and three stepchildren; two brothers-in-law Charles Warren and Marine Warren; and two sisters-in-law Clementine Knighton and Rose Carter.

     A funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday.  A committal service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday May 13, 2026 at the Delaware Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
