Agnes M. (Kohout) Burris

     Agnes Burris passed away on January 9, 2025 at 86 years of age at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE.
     She was born in Hartly, DE on Jan 25, 1938 to parents Frances K. Kohout and Charles J. Kohout (1941) who worked as farmers. Her father passed away when she was 3, and her family relocated to Dover when her mother remarried. Agnes married Richard C. Burris who passed away in 2005; they had 3 children.
     Agnes worked a successful career as a bank clerk starting at the Bank of Delaware in Wilmington then worked in various banks for 20 years. Enjoying the aspect of talking to customers. Later in life, she enjoyed being a grandmother and loved her grandchildren, taking care of them and spoiling them whenever she had the chance.
     She leaves behind survivors of immediate family, Lisa, Scott, his son Brenden, and Lara's sons David, Tyler and her daughter Katie.
