Willis Norman Butler, of Andrewsville, DE, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2018, in his home surrounded by family. He was 78.
Willis was born October 16, 1939, in Harrington, DE to the late, Norman Franklin & Bessie (Biles) Butler. In his early years, he was employed by the family business, Butler Feed Mill. Willis also served proudly in the United States Army before venturing in his own business as an over the road truck driver. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and flying remote control airplanes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Everett) Butler (2011) and 2 sisters, Norma Lee Jester and Margaret Hammond.
Willis is survived by his 3 children, Marsha Ann Kemp, Lewis Norman Butler, and Paula Jean Farrell & husband, Paul; 6 grandchildren, Alexa Mobley & husband, Aaron; Christina Butler, Meghan Holland & husband, Matt; Matthew Farrell, Macy Farrell & fiancé, Justin; and Mackenzie Farrell; and 5 great-grandsons, Kellan & Caden Mobley, Alexander Butler, and Thomas & Jack Holland.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, July 12, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where there will be a viewing from 11am to noon. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
