William “Butch” Binder, of Dover, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, in Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE. He was 76.
Butch was born February 20, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA., to the late, George & Dorothy(Boyer) Binder. He had worked for over 30 years, as a Maintenance Manager for several office buildings in Center City, Philadelphia, before retiring. In his free time, Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his beloved Philadelphia Eagles Football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Binder.
Butch is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Allen) Binder; his son, William G. Binder, Jr., of Dover; 2 grandchildren, Remy & Billy Binder; his sisters-in-law, Carol Binder, Judy Bojko, & Georgine Hoffman, all of Philadelphia, and Shirley Allen, of Doylestown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, August 25, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may gather from 10:30am to 12 noon.
