Wanda Lee (Nickerson) Kurtz

Dover- Wanda Lee (Nickerson) Kurtz passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 63.

 Wanda was born the daughter of the late David Thomas and Helen Lorraine (Swafford) Nickerson II.

Wanda was a taxi driver for the Amish for several years. Wanda enjoyed cooking and baking, Samaritans Purse Shoe Boxes Ministry, Felton Friends Homemakers Club Silks and Sulky”s, 4-H and a member of the Templeville Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Deusa,  and stepson, Keith Long.

She is survived by her Husband of 8 years, Jacob J. Kurtz, children; Edward (Gene) Long, Wayne Long (Joyce) both of Camden; stepchildren, Donnie Long (Rhonda) Felton, Debbie Marvel  (Joe), Lacey Kurtz Dover, siblings Michael Deusa, Linda Favre and Suzanne Collison, grandchildren; Amanda Schiavo (Thomas), Katie Bunting, Wayne Munyan, Christopher Ridgeway, Morgan Vanhekle, Emily Marvel, Matthew Sponaugle, Erin Long, Wyatt Long, Jacob Dickerson; great grandchild John Schiavo.

 A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Pippin Funeral Home 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming DE 19934 where friends may call after 10:00am.
