Victor T. Golden, Jr. passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 66.
He was born on August 1, 1950 in Dover, Delaware, son of the late Carol (Kling) and Victor T. Golden, Sr.
Victor graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and retired as a meat cutter for Food Lion.
He was active in his church. Vic also loved to play cards, especially pinochle.
He is preceded in death by his wife Thomasena Golden in 2010.
Victor is survived by his sister Catherine Parker and her husband Jim of Seaford, a niece Melissa Dutterer and her husband Clark of North East, MD, great nieces Carolyn, Genevieve and Evie Dutterer, close friend and caregiver Rose Davis, and an extended family of church friends and cousins.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to New Beginning Church of God, 3341 Mahan Corner Road, Marydel, DE 19964.
