Tu Ae “Youngmi” Walczak, Age 65 of Wyoming, DE passed away on September 30, 2017, at her home. Youngmi was born in Seoul, South Korea on March 16, 1952, the daughter of Ohbong & Yisun Kim. She met the love of her life, her husband David Walczak on May 21, 1976.
Youngmi enjoyed traveling, gardening & Yoga. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends at her home. She spent much of her time caring for family and volunteering for Meals on Wheels and for Bayhealth Medical Oncology, a cause near and dear to her and her husband’s heart. Youngmi faithfully attended Dover Korean Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; children, Jennifer Ritchie (Jeb), Michael Walczak (Maria) & Jessica McCoy (Rob); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Olivia, Axel, Jackson & Sylvia; sisters, Sujin Kim & Suntok Peggs (Ed); brother, Daehyun Kim, extended family and friends.
Funeral Service 12 Noon, Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. Friends may call beginning at 10 am. Interment at a later date at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE
