Sonny Zed (Old Buzzard 142) Postles

Sonny Zed Postles of Dover, DE passed away peacefully on May 27, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Delaware.  Sonny was born June 26, 1936 in Manhattan, New York.  He was in the U.S. Air Force for many years.  Mr. Postles also worked as a Paramedic for Kent General Hospital in his younger years.  He then went to the Delaware State News paper where he worked 40 years in both Delaware and Florida.  He enjoyed working for the paper, getting all the ads and talking to all the customers.  Sonny was a very friendly person and in his younger years enjoyed hunting and cars.  As he got older, he enjoyed puttering around the house and talking on his Ham Radio to people all around the world.  His Ham name was the Old Buzzard 142.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lynn Postles; his children Jimmy Postles, Wayne Postles, Tina Postles, Mikey Postles, David Postles, stepson Raymond Carney, and his two adopted daughters Christine and Jennifer Postles; grandchildren Carleen Aldrich, Michael Postles, Tina Postles, Jeff Postles, Hayden, Joshua, Bobby and Kaitlyn; great grandchildren, Brian, Skyler, Bella & Ellie; his siblings Shirley Boscio Valle, Norberto Jr. (Pete) Boscio, Benny Boscio, Carmen Boscio Castiglia, Bobby Boscio, Darlene Boscio Malave and many Nephews and Nieces.  He will be missed and be in our hearts forever.  Memorial Service Saturday, June 3, 2017, 3 pm at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W.
