Shirley L. "Pearl" Heath

     Shirley L. “Pearl” Heath, 55, of Dover passed away on June 29, 2017.

     Shirley had been a production worker for the Dover Post up until her illness. Pearl loved family gatherings and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows and also enjoyed meeting people.

     Shirley was a kind, loving and compassionate person.  She loved people from all walks of life.  Shirley would extend her friendship to all, no matter who they were.  She always had a smile to share that would change someone’s day.  Shirley loved life as it came even through her illness.  She would never murmur or complain.  Whenever anyone would ask how are you doing, with a smile she always replied “Just taking it one day at a time”.  That is how she lived.  There is so much that could be said about this lady, but to sum it up, all we will just say that she was a beautiful soul.  Shirley will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

     Shirley is survived by her son, Shawn Heath of Dover; three brothers: Shelton Evans of Dover, Roscoe Heath of Dover and Linwood Heath of Maryland; two sisters: Dora Evans of Dover and Knotts Johnson of New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sonia Heath and by her sister Stella T. Flamer. Shirley is the daughter of the late Junior Archer and Stella L. Evans.
