Rosalie D (Previte) Chordas

Rosalie D. Chordas, of Camden-Wyoming, passed away at the age of 78 on April 28, 2018 at home surrounded by those closest to her. Rosalie was born on May 3, 1939 in Woodbridge, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph and Vera Previte.

Rosalie enjoyed music from the 50’s and country music to include Merle Haggard and Tamie Wynett songs.  Rosalie was a phenomenal cook who was strong in her Christian faith.  She volunteered many years as secretary for the Junior Board at Kent General Hospital and was a member at Harvest Years Senior Center.  Her treasures in her life included both her children and grandchildren.  Her final wish was to pass with a  “song in her heart!”

She is survived by her husband of 36 years Richard Boryszewski; children, Lauren Chordas, Kendra (Dave) Ferrari & Darryl Chordas (Patricia Sorge); grandchildren, Trevor, Jared, Daniel, Kenneth, Nicole, Elizabeth, Christian & Ashley, her brother, Albert Previte (Donna); Sister, Barbara Ballo (Jerome), her sister-in-law, Jane LeBlanc, brother-in-law, Tom Sepka, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She will be missed by Richard’s children Brenda Salvatore and Raymond Boryszewski.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 4, 2018, 12 Noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE.  Friends may call at church beginning at 11 am .  Interment of cremated remains to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, DE.
