Robert J Freed

     Robert J. (Bob) Freed of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Beebe Hospital from natural causes in the company of his loved ones.

     Bob was a graduate of York Catholic High School class of 1957.  He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years.  He was a graduate of Penn State University.  Bob was a Past Master of Zeredath Lodge A.F. & A.M. of York, PA and a present member of Franklin Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Georgetown.  Bob was also a member of Cape Henlopen Elks and American Legion Post #28.

     He was predeceased by his parents Robert A. and Mary B. Freed.  He is survived by loving wife, Judith and son Robert J. Freed, II, Esq. of Houston, TX.  He is also survived by sisters, Florence (Ralph) Dolheimer and Margaret Gruver of York, PA and nieces and nephews.

     A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
