Rickey Lewis Johnson

   Rickey Lewis Johnson, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in Kent General Hospital.  He was 78.

   Rickey was born February 27, 1941, in Atlantic, Virginia to the late, Russell & Cora Johnson. He drove a truck for over 38 years for Howard Trucking before retiring.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha(McCray) Johnson(2014) and a son, Rickey A. Johnson(2017).

   Rickey is survived by his children, Sandra, Michael, Shirley, Calvin, Curtis and Nathaniel; his siblings, Grace, Sharon, Russell, Harold & Harvey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Services will be held 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before.  Cremation will follow, and burial of his ashes in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica will be held 11am, Saturday, April 27, 2019.
