     Nixon P. Freeman, 51, of Dover passed away on January 13, 2020.

     Nixon is survived by his wife, Leona N. Freeman; daughter, Cynthia J. Freeman of Dover; sister Hazel Bowser and her husband Ellery of Dover; brother Patrick Kannah of Liberia; sister Joan Freeman of Connecticut; sister Gloria Johnson of Dover; sister Sarah Johnson of Dover; sister Jandy Stevens and her husband Nathaniel of Dover; sister Yatta Davies of Virginia; brother Kpoto Freeman and his wife Minnie of North Dakota; brother Boima Freeman of Liberia; brother John P. Freeman, Jr. of Liberia; brother Jennah Freeman of Liberia; sister Oldlad Freeman of Liberia; and step mother Ida Freeman of Maryland.

     A funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church of the Living God, 425 W. Division Street, Dover, DE 19904 where there will be a viewing from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Saturday.  Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.  A complete obituary will appear at a later date.
