Nakaiesha Shaunta (Copes) Maiden

Dover- Nakaiesha Shaunta Maiden,41,  better known as Kay Kay or Nikki to friends and family, departed this earth on July 29, 2019.

Nakaiesha was the daughter of Mannie Copes (Winfield Elliott) and Charles Tucker (Karen).

Kay Kay had a love for landscaping, painting and music. She was a loner, but spent a lot of her free time with her friend Lisa working in her yard. Her favorite color was purple and she was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Nakaiesha had a friendly outgoing spirit, which was an asset while selling insurance and in customer service at Dover Downs. She attended Dover High School where she was a cheerleader, graduating in 1996.

Kay Kay was married May 25, 2006 to Jason Maiden. He departed this life on June 20, 2009. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.   Left to cherish her memories are her parents and her sisters Shalissa, Dante, Tashema, Lamia and Benita.  

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Pippin Funeral Home 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE where friends may call after 10:00am.
