Melvin Watson, Sr.

  Melvin Watson, Sr., of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 18, 2020, in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital. He was 77.

   Melvin was born March 27, 1942, in Wilmington, DE to the late Homer Watson & Thelma(Saunders) Williams. He worked for Dupont Corporation for 25 years before retiring.

   Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy(Ford) Watson(2011), 2 sons, Melvin Watson, Jr.(2019) and David Livingtston, and a sister, Wanda Huggins.

  He is survived by a son, Michael A. Watson, of Dover; 2 grandchildren, Melvin Watson, III, and Dhe-Jon Evans; his siblings, Homer, Robert & Frank; along with other sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.

   Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 1, 2020, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE ; where family and friends may view 2 hours before.
